Ways To give
Gifts of Cash A gift of cash or by check or debit or credit card is tax deductible in the year in which you make your gift. If you would like to make a gift now please view our Every Gift Counts Page.
Gifts of Stocks or Mutual Funds A gift of stocks or mutual funds can be made very easily by contacting your financial representative. They will in turn contact us so that we can ensure that the transaction is a smooth one.
Gifts through Bequests Four Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care can be named in your will as a recipient of a specified amount of cash, a percentage of your estate, stocks, real estate and/or your personal property upon your death. Bequests naming Four Seasons as beneficiary allow you to make a large contribution to our organization without sacrificing income during your lifetime. Your estate will also receive a tax deduction for the amount contributed.
Gifts through Life Insurance Four Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care can be named as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy. This allows you to make a large charitable contribution to our organization upon your death without a financial impact during your lifetime. Charitable tax deductions may apply.
Gifts of Property/Life Estate Gifts Property and estate gifts can be donated to Four Seasons. Through a “life estate gift”, you can donate your home or other property to Four Seasons now, but continue to use it throughout your lifetime. You can also designate that your spouse or other party use the property throughout their lifetime and when the property is no longer used or needed, Four Seasons inherits it.
Gifts – Specialized Specialized gifts such as gift annuities and Pooled Income Funds are additional ways Hospice may be supported.
Gifts – Hospice Home Store We have a Hospice Home Store that is accepting donations on an ongoing basis. Store hours are Monday - Saturday 9:30 am till 5:00 pm and donations are accepted during business hours. Donations can be made at 215 N. Main Street Hendersonville, NC 28792.
